20. Remove the secondary lock (2) and weather seal (1)
from the connector.
21. If present, detach the tab (3) located in the wire end
view of cavity 3.
22. Remove the primary lock (1) form the connector.
23. Insert the violet/white wire pin (1) from the hood switch
harness into cavity 3 of the "D" connector. Make sure
that the pin is thoroughly engaged into the cavity.
24. Re­install the primary lock into the "D" connector.
25. Re­install the secondary lock and weather seal into
the "D" connector.
26. Re­connect the "D" connector into the TIPM.
