14. Remove the cover from the Totally Integrated Power
Module (TIPM).
15. Remove the B+ cable and nut (1) from the terminal
located on the TIPM.
16. Using a suitable flat blade tool, disengage the TIPM's
upper retaining tabs (2) and lift up to remove the TIPM
(1) from it's bracket.
17. Grasp the TIPM and rotate the assembly up to free it
from its mounting bracket. Position the assembly up
right to access the electrical connectors located on the
bottom of the unit.
18. Remove the connector marked "D" (1).
19. Locate cavity 3 (3) in the wire end view of the "D"
connector.
