4. Install the kit supplied hood ajar switch bracket (1) us
ing the kit supplied bolt (2) to the inner portion of the
radiator support. Tighten the bolt to 8 Nm (71 inlbs.).
5. Feed the connector of the kit supplied hood ajar switch
harness (2) and pull through the hole marked "TIPM"
on the bracket (3) .
6. Plug the kit supplied hood ajar switch (1) into the har
ness (2) and seat the hood ajar switch into the hole
marked "TIPM".
7. Using fish tape or equivalent, pull the kit supplied har
ness under the bracket (3) located on the driver side
fender.
8. Remove the ground bolt (2) located on the inner driver
side fender.
9. Install the ground bolt eyelet (1) from the kit supplied
harness and reinstall the ground bolt. Tighten the bolt
to 11 N-m (97 in-lbs.).
