6. Detach the factory installed hood ajar switch harness
and pull through the hole marked "TIPM" on the
bracket.
7. Plug the kit supplied hood ajar switch into the harness
and seat the hood ajar switch into the hole marked
"TIPM".
HOOD SWITCH AND HARNESS INSTALLATION (IF FACTORY HOOD SWITCH CONNECTOR/HARNESS
IS NOT PRESENT)
1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Wait two minutes for the system capacitor to discharge
before further service.
2. Install the kit supplied J­clip (1) to the inner portion of
the radiator support just in from the windshield washer
reservoir.
