the item if such damage is apparent!
• Check the condition of the slide protection
before and after each use. In case you identify
major wear and tear (metal claws less than
50% intact compared to a new item), the item
must be disposed of.
• The hiking boots must be tightly and completely
connected to the snowshoe attachment, and
your feet must have a firm hold in your hiking
boots. Otherwise you risk twisting an ankle and
falling.
• The item may not be used when the outdoor
temperature exceeds -20°C.
• Do not use the item:
• for mountaineering in alpine or steep condi-
tions, or for expeditions;
• in work-safety areas.
• Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of
100kg, incl. packing accessories.
• The snow-claws serve as grippers on snow or
frozen snow. They do not, however, serve as
climbing irons on pure ice!
• Only wear the snowshoes on snow, otherwise
you damage the snowshoes and the lower
surface.
• Only use the item with appropriate and robust
hiking boots.
• Always hike in avalanche-safety zones and
marked, authorized and safe routes.
• Be careful of dangerous winter conditions and
alpine risk areas, e.g. avalanche warnings.
• If you transport the item in your carry-bag, the
metal claws must always face away form you.
Important notes for your

• Always hike in avalanche-safety zones and
marked, authorized and safe routes.
• Take note of the weather conditions in your

trail. It's particularly important to double-check
whether there is a risk of avalanches.
