SL input deactivated (factory setting):
The fan is controlled via the integral room temperature controller.
1
SL input activated:
The fan is controlled via a wall mounted 2-point room temperature controller.
0
Two-point control:
The fan is switched on and off by the integral room temperature controller subject to heat de-
mand.
1
Proportional control (factory setting):
The speed of the fan motors is continuously adjusted to the heat demand by the integral room
temperature controller.
100 %
In conjunction with the variable connected load, four different charging levels can be set for the
90 %
electronic charge controller. The factory setting is 100 % (no reduction).
80 %
If a different setting is selected, a reduced charge level results (reduced switch-off temperature
70 %
of the electronic charge controller). See chapter "Specification / Reducing connected load while
maintaining nominal charge duration".
0
If no booster heater is installed in the appliance (factory setting).
1
The booster heater installed in the appliance is activated.
1
The charge volume is controlled via the charge level reducer.
2
The charge control cable is connected to an AC control signal (factory setting).
Duty cycle and fault characteristics adjustable via parameters P17 and P18.
3
The charge control cable is connected to a DC control signal.
Fault characteristics adjustable via parameter P18.
4
The charge volume is determined via room temperature-dependent charge control.
Enable charging selectable via parameter P15 (P15=1 or P15=3).
0
Permanently enabled (factory setting):
The heating elements are switched on when the heating contactor and the electronic charge con-
troller enable charging.
1
Enabling via hardware signal LF:
The heating elements are not switched on until LF enabling is given by the power supply utility
and the electronic charge controller enables charging. The power supply utility signal LF must be
connected to terminal LF/SH.
3
Enabling via internal clock:
The heating elements are not switched on until enabling is given via the internal clock and the
electronic charge controller enables charging. Enabling is only possible once within 24 hours.
The start time for enabling is set via parameter P19 and the charge duration via parameter P20.
30 % to 80 % The charge control cable must be connected to an AC control signal (alternating voltage signal at
terminals A1 and A2).
The electronic charge controller in the appliance can be operated by charge control systems with
duty cycles of 80 %, 72 %, 68 %, 40 % and 37 %. The factory setting is designed for duty cycles
of 80 %.
If the appliance is operated with other duty cycles, this parameter must be adjusted to the appro-
priate percentage.
0
The appliance is set to "negative fault characteristics" (storage heater not charged if charge con-
trol system is faulty). Setting only possible when operated by a digital charge control system.
With AC charge control systems, an 80 % duty cycle signal is additionally required.
1
The appliance is set to "positive fault characteristics" (factory setting). If the charge control sys-
tem is faulty (e.g. control signal failure), the appliance receives a full charge.
- -:- -
Set the start time for charge enabling via the internal clock. The factory setting is 00:00 h. Ensure
the day of the week and the time are set correctly when setting the start time.
00:00 h -
Set the charge duration for charge enabling via the internal clock. The factory setting is 8 hours.
22:00 h
The maximum charge duration is 22 hours.
