Fitting the parallel guide (Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19) if ne-
cessary.
2. Push the parallel guide (12) into the
holders (18).
3. Retighten the retaining screws (19).
Removing the parallel guide

1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Pull the parallel guide (12) out of the
holders (18).
Adjusting the parallel guide
(Fig. C)
1. Loosen the retaining screws (19).
2. Set the scale on the parallel guide
(12) so that you can read the desired
cutting width on the footplate (13)
marking.
3. Retighten the retaining screws (19).
4. Make a test cut, check the cutting
width and correct the position of the
parallel guide (12) if necessary.

Notes
• You can set the following cutting
angles:
−45°; −22.5°; 0°; 15°; 30°; 45°
Procedure (Fig. D)
1. Switch off the device and remove the
battery (29). Make sure that all mov-
ing parts have come to a complete
stop.
2. Remove the splinter guard (24).
3. Remove the suction nozzle (8).
You can install the suction nozzle
again after making the setting.
4. Loosen the hexagon socket screws
(11) with the hex key (4).
5. Pull the footplate (13) backwards
slightly.
6. Adjust the footplate (13) to the desired
position.
7. Press the footplate (13) forwards into
one of the notches.
8. Tighten the hexagon socket screws
(11) with the hex key (4).
External dust extraction
Requirements
• The protective cover (20) is mounted.
Connecting external dust extrac-
tion (Fig. E)
1. Slide the suction connector (8) as far
as it will go into the guide rail between
the device and footplate (13).
2. Connect a suitable dust extraction (not
included) to the suction nozzle (8).
3. If the external dust extractor does not
fit, use the additional reducer (7).

1. Remove the dust extraction from the
suction connector (8) or reducer (7).
2. Remove the reducer piece (7).
3. Remove the suction connector (8).
Attaching and removing the
protective cover
Attaching the protective cover
1. Press the two holders on the protect-
ive cover (20) into the recesses on the
device housing.
The protective cover clicks into place.
You can fold the fitted protective cover up
by 65°.
Removing the protective cover
1. Carefully press the two holders on the
protective cover (20) apart.
2. Pull the protective cover to the front.
