Charge the battery (5)
when only the red LED
on the level indicator is
illuminated.
1. Remove the battery (5) from
the device.
2. Plug the charger (12) into a
power outlet.
3. Slide the rechargeable
battery (5) onto the charger
(12).
4. After charging is complete,
a green light will be illumi-
nated permanently. You can
now disconnect the charger
(12) from the mains supply.
5. Pull the battery (5) out of the
charger (12).
Switching on and off
Caution, danger of burns!
Do not touch the hot sol-
dering tip (3)/chisel tip (9).
When starting work:
1. Wet the sponge (2) and
place it into the receptacle
on the station (4).
2. Insert the soldering iron into
the station.
3. Hold down the On/Off switch
(1) for approx. 4 seconds.

After 10 minutes, the
LED will start to flash red
meaning the soldering station
has transferred into energy-
saving mode for safety reasons.
Press the On/off switch (1) to
re-heat the soldering station
(>LED flashes red quickly) and
cancel energy-saving mode.
Switching off:
1. Briefly press the On/Off
switch (1).
2. Insert the soldering iron into
the station. Make sure that
the hot soldering tip (3)/
chisel tip (9) does not touch
anything until it has cooled
down.
