7.3
Initial start-up
The system must be commissioned by the installer or an expert appointed by the installer (if possible in the presence of the system operator).
Note!
Before filling the system, the pipelines must be purged in accordance with DIN 1988 while observing the maximum volume flows of the flow sensor.
If higher volume flows are required during filling and purging or if purging is carried out intermittently, the volume flow sensor must be replaced with a
fitting (not included in the scope of delivery) for this period.
Attention! – Damage to sensors
•
Opening the volume flow suddenly can damage the sensor.
–
Check the filter (if fitted) regularly and replace if dirty.
–
Open the ball valves slowly.
Proceed as follows:
1.
Check the installation.
2.
Check the correct spatial and electrical installation of the two temperature probes.
3.
Check the connections of all inputs and outputs.
4.
Switch on the controller.
5.
Make the settings on the controller. Proceed according to the controller instructions.
6.
Only for Hydroflow L and XL: Slowly open the ball valves on the heating side. The lower ball valve is opened first.
7.
Check the function of the pumps in manual operation.
8.
Check the hot water provision at the tap.
9.
Check optional functions: Circulation and cascade.
Instruct the operator in the operation and function of the system.
7.4
Filling
Note!
Avoid volume flows outside the application range of the volume flow sensor. Observe maximum values!
Only fill the potable water side with clean potable water in accordance with DIN 1988. Press the air out of the pipes with the slight increase in pressure.
The heating system including the primary side of the mains water station must be filled in accordance with VDI 2035. Vent the system completely.
Note!
The commissioning process is now concluded.
