The
program
swit~hes
on the DECODER BOARD are
Located
near the contacts of the SYNC BOARD.
The
SYNC
BQARD must be removed for changing the
switch
settings.
When the
t~o
right-hand
s~itches
are in the OFF position,
the
A727· Compact Disc Player can be
operated
without
the SYNC BOARD.
The
two left-hand switches should be
in
the
ON
position.
The
+5 V
setting is only used for tEst purposes and
con-
nects the two
sub~ode
inputs SCA8 and SDAB permanently to
+5
v.

Care of the CD play

play mechanism is an optomechanical
preCiSion
instrument that should be protected from dust and shock

The OPtical laser system can be cleaned wlth an airbrush.
