PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Pressing
the
PLAY key

causes the first
selection
(TRACK) of the mounted compact disc to be played.

PLAY key is pressed after a selection has been made
with

numeric input keys

the selection corresponding
to that number will be played,

forward

the
track.
This
function can be activated during the normal
play process as well as in PAUSE mode.

Numeric input keys

can be used to
directly
address selections (TRACKS) or indices (INDtX),

the

on
the display and the entered digit is
indicated.
The
current operating mode is not affected

The entry

the mounted compact disc has not been

Pressing
the STOP key

interrupts the play mode or
a pause function and returns the laser pickup to the neu-
tral pOSition.
Exception:
This function and all other transport functions are in-
hibited while fader start is active.

Pressing the PAUSE key

and the PAUSE message appears on the display.
The play process is interrupted, the laser pickup remains
in the attained poSition, the

PAUSE
function can only be cancelled with the
PLAY

continues the play operation from the stopped
