Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the
written instructions. Keep the instructions with the child
• Failure to follow all warnings and instructions could
result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.
• Follow all instructions on this child restraint and in the
written instructions located in the pocket behind the
cover.
• Use only with children who weigh between 2.3 and 29.5
kg (5 and 65 pounds) and whose height is 124.5 cm (49
inches) or less.
• Use rear-facing for children who weigh between 2.3 and
18.1 kg (5 and 40 lbs) and whose height is 124.5 cm (49
in.) or less.
• Use only in a rear-facing position when using it with an
infant weighing less than 10 kg (22 lbs).
• The provided lower infant insert MUST be used for
children weighing 10 kg (22 lbs) or less in a rear-facing
position. Do not use over 10 kg (22 lbs) or in a forward-
facing position.
• Do not attempt to permanently remove harness pads.
• Harness pads MUST be used with children weighing 10 –
18.1 kg (22 - 40 lbs) rear facing and 11.3 – 29.5 kg
(25 - 65 lbs) forward facing.
• Harness pads may be used for children under 10 kg
(22 lbs) rear facing when proper positioning can be
achieved.
• Use forward-facing for children who weigh between 10
and 29.5 kg (22 and 65 lbs) and whose height is 124.5 cm
(49 in.) or less AND are able to walk unassisted.
• Secure the tether provided with this child restraint
forward-facing mode.
• Snugly adjust the belts provided with this child restraint
around your child.
• Register your child restraint with the manufacturer.
• Do not use this seat in a position where the recline
indicator ball is outside of the allowable range for
the chosen installation (see page 18).
• Use the buckle slot closest to, but not underneath, your
child when installing the child restraint.
• Secure this child restraint with the vehicle's lower
connector system if it is installed in a seating position
that is equipped with a lower universal anchorage
system or by means of a vehicle seat belt and by
means of a tether (latter for forward-facing harness
mode only).
