Lock and remove slack
from the vehicle belt.
NOTE: Make sure that
the vehicle belt is
locked as directed by
your vehicle owner's
manual.
8. Close the ClickTight
over the vehicle belt.
9. Ensure
both gray
ClickTight release
buttons are visible.
NOTE: If it is difficult to
close you may have
removed too much
slack.
Rear-Facing
Installation with Lap Belt
9 Recline indicator is completely within the blue
section for rear-facing, after child is secured.
9 Child restraint cannot be moved front to back or
side to side more than 2.5 cm (1 in) at the belt path.
9 Lap Belt is routed through the ClickTight.
9 Car seat base MUST be flat on vehicle seat and
MUST be parallel to vehicle seat.
NOTE: If the child restraint does not meet the above
criteria, repeat the installation steps, or use a different
seating location in your vehicle.
