Notes on charging
Depending on the location, the connection of charg-
ing equipment for electric vehicles is subject to reg-
istration.
e
Check for any reporting requirements and the
applicable legal requirements for operation be-
fore connecting.
NOTICE
Damage to the Wallbox
The Wallbox may be operated within a temperature
range between −13 °F and +113 °F only.
e
To avoid overheating during operation, the Wall-
box should be installed in a weather-protected
location and not exposed to direct sunlight for
long periods of time. If the wallbox overheats,
the charging process is stopped automatically
until the temperature returns to the normal
range.
e
If the Wallbox becomes too hot or too cold, allow
the Wallbox to slowly return to the operating
temperature range. Do not actively attempt to
cool or heat the Wallbox, e.g. using cold water or
a hairdryer.
NOTICE
Charging at high ambient temperatures or in direct
sunlight may cause the charging process to stop
prematurely. Such interruptions can be prevented by
limiting the charging power.
