D – MAINTENANCE/PIECES DE RECHANGE
D1 - ENTRETIEN
Malgré la robustesse du PRESTOTIG 240 et 310 AC/DC EASY, le maintien en bon
état du générateur exige un minimum d'entretien.
La fréquence des opérations d'entretien dépend des conditions d'emploi (local plus ou
moins poussiéreux, utilisation plus ou moins intensive, etc.).
En moyenne, les opérations ci-dessous peuvent être effectuées une ou deux fois par an.
Procéder à un dépoussiérage de l'appareil, si possible avec un aspirateur ou par
soufflage à l'air comprimé sec (après purge des tuyaux et du réservoir).
Examiner les différentes connexions. S'assurer qu'elles soient bien serrées à fond.
Surveiller en particulier l'état des bornes secondaires sur lesquelles se branchent les
câbles de soudage. Il est essentiel que ces bornes soient correctement serrées pour
garantir un bon contact électrique et éviter un échauffement des connexions.
A chaque mise en route ou en cas de panne, vérifier d'abord :
le raccordement réseau
le raccordement gaz
la présence de la pince de masse sur la pièce à souder
l'état de la torche et son équipement.

In spite of the robustness of PRESTOTIG 240 and 310 AC/DC EASY, a minimum
of maintenance is required to keep the power source in good condition.
The frequency of maintenance operations depends on the operating conditions (the
amount of dust on the working premises, intensity of use, etc.).
Generally, the operations below can be carried out once or twice per year.
Clean the dust from the equipment if possible using a vacuum cleaner or blowing
out with compressed air (after draining the hoses and tank).
Examine all the connections. Make sure that they are properly tightened. Pay
special attention to the condition of the secondary terminals to which the welding
cables are connected. These terminals must be properly tightened to guarantee
correct electrical contact and avoid overheating of the connections.
On each start-up or in cases of failure, first check:
the mains connection
the gas connection
the presence of a ground clip on the work piece
the condition of the torch and its accessories.

OVERHEATING PREVENTION
