Safety information
WARNING
Before each use, check the product for loose components, damage, malfunction,
–
and bent or deformed parts. Do not use if these conditions exist. Failure to comply
may lead to patient or medical staff injury. If service is required, contact your Stryker
sales representative.
The product is delivered in a non-sterile condition. Before first use, as well as before
–
each following use, it must be reprocessed according to a validated procedure.
Refer to Section "Reprocessing."
In case of known pre-existing conditions of variants of Creutzfeldt-Jakob-Disease
–
(CJD) of the patient, ensure that the product is quarantined and not being used
further. Follow the recommendation of the national authorities (e. g. WHO, RKI or
CDC) concerning Creutzfeldt-Jakob-Disease.
Avoid serious strains, for instance heavy impacts. After an excessive strain, the
–
affected instrument must be checked for defects and recalibrated (if possible) or
replaced.
Do not expose the product to a high magnetic field such as from a magnetic
–
resonance imaging (MRI) device.
CAUTION
The product has three sharp tips at the base. Pay special attention to these areas in
–
order to avoid injury to yourself or others.
Unauthorized modifications of the product are forbidden for safety reasons.

The product may only be used for its intended purpose.
