4.1.1. Base preassembly (Figure 2)

Insert the tube (a) into the tracker foot (b) from below and fix it with the adjusting
screw (c) (with one or two rotations).
2.
Attach the connecting piece (d) and secure it with the knurled nut (e).

4.1.2. Fixing the base on the patient's head (Figure 3)

Select a suitable location on the patient's head.
2.
Carry out an incision of approximately 7 mm to 8 mm.
3.
Insert the tube into the incision and fix it with a bone screw at the neurocranium.
