Attaching the filament spool
⇒ Place the filament spool (8) on the filament spool holder (7) in such a way that
the filament can be inserted into the filament sensor from underneath.
Ensure that the filament spool is placed on the filament spool holder in
such a way that the filament can be inserted clockwise into the FMS from
underneath (Fig. 20).
Only use Renfert filaments, as they do not result in any gases during print-
ing that are harmful to health.
If using alternative filaments, ensure that no gases are released during
printing that are harmful to health.

5.6.1
Selecting the filament / starting heating
For loading, the extruder must be pre-heated to operating temperature (= printing temperature).
The temperature values f or the extruder (= head temp:) and the print bed (= bed temp:) of four different
filaments are stored in the SIMPLEX 3D printer.
• TEMP1: SIMPLEX study model / working model / multi-use
• TEMP2: SIMPLEX aligner model
• USER1: Freely configurable
• USER2: Freely configurable
Chap. 7.2. explains how you can store customer temperature values for the USER1 and USER2
filaments.
