K Programmable Meat Probe
When the Programmable Meat Probes are plugged-
in at the connection ports, these icons will display.
The Actual temperature is shown in bold and the Set
temperature, if one is set, will be shown below. Move
to or touch P1 or P2 on the Main Screen. Rotate the
Controller Knob to adjust the desired temperature
and push the knob or touch to confirm the selection.
To access the Probes sub-screen, touch or move the
joystick up if hovering over P2, and down if hovering
over P1. Under the Probes sub-screen, select the probe,
then the temperature to program, or select the protein
icon to set the default temperature for what is being
cooked. When not in use, disconnect the Meat Probe.
The outer ring indicates how far along the current
cooking temperature is from the programmed
temperature, 0-100%. See Controller Functions for
more detail on using the Programmable Meat Probes.
O Protein Preset
Move the Controller Knob over the Meat Probes and
press the Controller Knob up or down to access the
Probes sub-screen. In this sub-screen, choose a protein
preset instead of setting an exact desired Set tempera-
ture. The preset temperature of each protein is the
safe minimum internal cooking temperature to ensure
doneness. Nudging the Controller Knob to the left or
right to select the desired protein preset. Push the Con-
troller Knob to confirm the selection. The protein preset
temperatures are as follow:
• Beef: 60°C / 140°F
• Pork: 63°C / 145°F
• Chicken: 74°C / 165°F
• Fish: 63°C / 145°F

Settings
The Setting options under this screen:
• Display: Select the brightness of the display or select
the temperature scale. Fahrenheit (ºF) is the default.
• Screen Saver: The default is 15 Min. Select 1 Min, 3
Min, or 5 Min to choose when the display will go into
sleep mode after it has been idle, and click Lock to
confirm. Press the Control Knob to wake the display.
• Start-Up: OFF is the default and will automatically
heat the unit to 225°F. Move the Control Knob to
temperature (it will be blinking blue) and rotate the
wheel to modify, press the Control Knob to confirm
the temperature. Select ON to keep this selected
temperature as the new start-up temperature. The
temperature range is 180-500°F.
• Language: English is the default. French and Spanish
are selectable options.
• About: The information of the unit will be displayed
here. Name, Model No., Serial No., Controller ID,
Version, and MAC (Media Access Control) Address.
M Menu
The Menu options: Hold Prime, 3 Seconds Prime,
or 5 Seconds Prime. Selecting the Hold option will
continuously feed pellets from the auger, 30 seconds
maximum. Press it again to stop the auger feed. The
timed selections will prime automatically for that
period.

P Meat Probes
Move the Controller Knob over the Meat Probes and
press the Controller Knob up or down to access the
Probes sub-screen. In this sub-screen, nudge the Con-
troller Knob up/down to highlight Probe 1 or Probe 2. If
highlighted, that is the Meat Probe selected. Rotate the
Controller Knob to set, then push the Controller Knob to
confirm value. See Controller Functions for more detail on
using the meat probes.
