Hatco Built-In Hot/Cold Shelves are reliable and versatile.
Each unit has an insulated, stainless steel and aluminized
steel housing. For hot operation, a surface-mounted, rope-
style heating element distributes heat evenly under the entire
hardcoat aluminum or stone surface. For cold operation,
a copper evaporator coil wound under the entire hardcoat
aluminum or stone surface provides even chilling from edge
to edge. A condensing unit is connected to the evaporator coil
with a flexible tubing assembly. Hatco Built-In Hot/Cold Shelves
are designed, manufactured, and tested to maintain safe food
holding temperatures.
Controls for the Built-In Hot/Cold Shelves are housed in a
single, remote-mountable control box. They include a three
position Power Switch and two digital temperature controllers.
The control box is connected to the condensing unit with a 4'
(1219 mm) power cord and to the heating element with a 4'
(1219 mm) conduit assembly.
NOTE: Optional control cables (export units only) extend the
length of the standard control cables from 4' (1219 mm)
to 8-1/2' (2591 mm).
Depending on the model, Built-In Hot/Cold Shelves are
designed to be mounted to either the topside or bottomside of
various types of countertop material including stainless steel,
wood, Corian, and Swanstone.

MODEL DESCRIPTION
The ecoization logo identifies products designed to reflect
Hatco's commitment to improving, protecting, and preserving
the global environment. Hatco Built-In Hot/Cold Shelves qualify
for the ecoization logo through the use of eco-friendly insulation
as well as a highly efficient condensing unit.
HCSBF Models
HCSBF models have an hardcoat aluminum surface and are
top mounted.
HCSSB and HCSSBF Models
HCSSB and HCSSBF models have a decorative stone surface
and are bottom mounted.
NOTE: Stone surfaces are a simulated stone solid surface.
