⑥ After drying, replace the cleaning roller in the appliance and turn the release
knob by 90° clockwise. When you hear the click, the roller has been success-
fully secured in place.

Storage
Storing the appliance
① Switch off the appliance before storing it away and place it on the charging
base.
② Clean the appliance thoroughly before storing it away to prevent the growth
of bacteria (see the "Cleaning" section).
③ Make sure that the clean water tank and the waste water tank have been
emptied before storing the appliance away.
④ If the appliance will not be used for over a week, unplug the power cord and,
after drying the appliance thoroughly, store it somewhere dry and clean.
1. To prevent potentially damaging your floor, do not store the appliance
directly on a wooden floor without the charging base. Place the
appliance onto the charging base.
2. After cleaning, allow the appliance and accessories to dry completely.
Waste water left in the appliance and damp components may cause
bacteria, fungus and odours to accumulate.
Battery maintenance: If the appliance is not used for a long period,
please charge the battery in the charging base
for three hours every three months (a full
charge is not necessary).
Information on disposal
Packaging
The packaging protects the THOMAS FloorCleaner from damage during transport. It
is made of environmentally friendly materials and is therefore recyclable. Do not
dispose of packaging that is no longer required in household waste but put it out
for recycling.
Used appliances and batteries
Old electrical equipment contains valuable substances and materials
which must not be released into the environment. Do not dispose of the
THOMAS FloorCleaner and the rechargeable battery it contains in your household
waste. The appliance, the charger and the removed battery must be disposed of
separately. You can dispose of it safely and free of charge at your local recycling
centre or through appropriate return and collection systems.
The components of the THOMAS FloorCleaner may be hazardous to health and the
environment if used improperly or disposed of incorrectly. These components are
essential for the correct functioning of the THOMAS FloorCleaner. Appliances
bearing the symbol shown must not be disposed of in household waste.
Safe methods of disposal for the used battery
① Before disposing of the appliance, the battery must be removed from it.
② The appliance must be switched off when you remove the battery.
③ The battery must be disposed of safely.
④ Please take the removed battery to a designated, approved battery recycling
centre.
Procedure for removing the battery
① Rotate the cover of the LED display by 25° anticlockwise and remove it.
② Loosen the four screws of the battery compartment cover with a Phillips
screwdriver and remove it.
③ Unplug all connectors on the motherboard. Remove the two screws on the
motherboard with a Phillips screwdriver, and then remove the motherboard.
④ Remove the two screws on the battery with a Phillips screwdriver in order to
take out the battery.
Customer service
Ask your dealer for the THOMAS customer service centre in your area. Please also
provide the information on the nameplate of your THOMAS unit.
To maintain the safety of the appliance, only have repairs, particularly those on live
components, carried out by a qualified electrician. In the event of a malfunction,
consult your specialist dealer or contact the factory customer service directly. You
will find details of THOMAS service centres on the back of this user manual.
