Assembly
① Lower the end of the handle into the opening in the appliance. When you
hear a click, make sure that the handle is locked into place and does not feel
loose. Then assembly is complete.

Please do not try to detach the handle from the housing. This will damage
the appliance.
Starting up
1. Charging the battery
① Make sure that the charging base and the power adapter are properly connected.
② Place the appliance on the charging base and clasp the latch locator onto the
locating stud provided. The battery indicator in the appliance's display lights
up green when the device is fully charged.
③ Charge the appliance before first use. When the battery is dead, it requires
approximately 4-5 hours charging to regain full battery capacity.
For your safety, please keep the charging base in a dry place and do
not touch the charge port. Please keep the appliance upright near a wall
while charging, to prevent the charging cable becoming a trip hazard.
Battery maintenance: If the appliance is not used for a long period
after purchase, please charge the battery in the
charging base for three hours every three
months (a full charge is not necessary).
2. Before starting to clean
Before you start cleaning, clear the floor of objects such as toys, broken shards,
power cords, screws etc. Please also remove long hair, pet hair and materials with
a high water binding capacity (e.g. cat litter/animal bedding/sawdust/pellets)
from the surface to be cleaned.

3. Fill clean water tank
Fill the clean water tank before each use.
① Press the release button and pull the clean water tank out. To prevent the
appliance from toppling over, hold it upright with one hand.
② Fill the clean water tank with cold or warm water (should not be warmer
than 40°C) up to the maximum marking. For thorough cleaning, add an
appropriate amount of foam-free THOMAS ProTex cleaning concentrate to the
clean water tank in accordance with the dosage instructions.
Only use THOMAS ProTex cleaning concentrate to prevent unwanted foam
formation.
③ Fully insert the clean water tank into the appliance, until you hear a clicking
sound indicating that the tank is locked into place. To prevent the appliance
from toppling over, hold it upright with one hand and insert the clean water
tank with your other hand.

To prevent the clean water tank from dropping out during cleaning,
please make sure it is correctly positioned and locked into place.
