Enjoying the sounds

To adjust the tone quality
Turn [BASS] to adjust the low frequency
sound.
Turn [TREBLE] to adjust the high
frequency sound.

To adjust the sound balance
Turn [BALANCE] to adjust the left/right
sound balance.
C
To adjust the subwoofer level
You can adjust the volume of the subwoofer while listening to a
source.
No
sound
is heard
from
the
subwoofer
if "OFF"

selected.
Press [SUBWOOFER LEVEL].
The current setting is shown.
Press again to change the setting.
Each time the button is pressed the display switches as follows,

The factory setting is "SW 157.
To make finer adjustments
© Press [LEVEL] to select "SW".
@ Press [+] or [-].
You can adjust the level a step at a time between 1 and 25. You
can also select "OFF".
For your reference
This setting can be done for each DSP mode.
Sound from the subwoofer can be distorted if you raise the unit's
volume while subwoofer level is high. Reduce subwoofer level if
this occurs.

Toadjust the subwoofer low pass filter
You can adjust the frequency of the subwoofer low pass filter.
Press [SUBWOOFER LOW PASS FILTER].
The current setting is shown.
Press again to change the setting.
Each time the button is pressed the display switches as follows,
50 —»100—150-+200

factory setting is 150 Hz. When
using the speakers
included with this unit, leave the setting at 150 Hz.
è The low pass filter cannot be adjusted while you are playing a
Dolby Digital or DTS source or if the DSP SURROUND mode is
on.
