The pump is not screwed
on tightly.
O-ring [13] on the pump is
faulty. (Fig. 16)
Diaphragm [14] is defecti-
ve. (Fig. 16)
Valve disc [18] dirty of
defective. (Fig. 21)
Piston pressure gauge [10]
is defective
Nozzle [16] (Fig. 18) or
/ and filter [17] (Fig. 19)
clogged.
Discharge filter [6] (Fig.
20) blocked.
O-ring [19] of the pressure
bolt [20] is not greased /
lubricated. (Fig. 22)
Defective pressure bolt
[20] or
O-ring [19]. (Fig. 22)

Remedy
Screw the pump on tightly.
Replace the O-ring.
Replace the diaphragm.
Clean or replace the valve disc.
Have the piston pressure gauge
repaired (3237P).
Replace the piston pressure
gauge (3278P).
Clean the nozzle or / and filter.
Clean discharge filter.
Grease the O-ring of the pressu-
re bolt (dismantle or assemble
the pump → section „Care and
maintenance")
Replace the pressure bolt or
O-ring.
