Indications for use
Triad TranSheet is a visible
light cure material indicated for
numerous orthodontic and removable
prosthetic applications.

Product Information

Triad TranSheet is a urethane
dimethacrylate-based material which
contains no methyl methacrylate
monomer.

Contraindications

Triad TranSheet Material is
contraindicated for patients and
users with a history of allergic
reaction to a) urethane resins;
and/or b) methyl methacrylate
monomer (contained in Triad VLC
Bonding Agent only).
Warnings
Triad TranSheet Material and
Triad VLC Bonding Agent contain
polymerizable monomers which
may cause skin sensitization
(allergic contact dermatitis)
or other allergic reactions in
susceptible persons. Wear
protective gloves and protective
clothing. Wash thoroughly with
soap and water after contact. If skin
sensitization occurs, discontinue
use. If dermatitis or other
symptoms persist, seek medical
advice.
Precautions
When grinding prosthodontic
resins, proper ventilation, masks
and vacuum systems should be
used.
Wear eye protection.
All cure times cited are appropriate
for Triad 2000 and Triad II curing
units. Consult your Technique
Manual or call Technical Support for
Triad I curing times.
Store Triad Materials at or below
24˚C/75˚F and away from direct
sunlight. Triad Materials may be
refrigerated to extend shelf life.
Unused Triad Materials should be
polymerized prior to disposal.

Do not use Triad Materials that
crack or craze when handled.

Adverse Reactions

Allergic contact dermatitis and
other allergic reactions may occur
in susceptible individuals.
Dust will be generated when
grinding Triad Materials. Eye, skin
and respiratory irritation may occur
if appropriate engineering controls
are not used.
STEP-BY-STEP
INSTRUCTIONS
ORTHODONTIC RETAINER
1.
Apply a coating of Triad Model
Release Agent (MRA) to the cast.
2. Position and secure wires on the
cast, at least 0.05 mm (0.002")
above the palate.
3. Adapt a small amount of Triad
TranSheet Material under and/or
around wires. (Note: Triad Gel may
also be used to cover wires.) Adapt
Triad TranSheet Material to the cast
with finger pressure and the Triad
Modeling Tool.
4. Trim to the desired shape with a
sharp blade.
5. Place in the Triad Light Curing Unit
for a four (4) minute preliminary
cure.
6. Following the preliminary cure,
remove the appliance from the
cast and apply Triad Air Barrier
Coating (ABC) to all surfaces of the
VLC materials. Return the appliance
to the curing unit, tissue side up,
and cure for six (6) minutes.
7.
Gently scrub the appliance with
warm water and a brush to remove
all traces of Triad ABC.
8. Trim and polish as required.

Set and wax appropiate artificial
teeth in the edentulous area.
2. Apply Triad MRA to the cast,
