Troubleshooting

The following hints will enable a technician to do a first diagnostic or help in case of wrong or non-
reproducible weighing results after commissioning and calibration.

Junction box
Connecting cables
Mounting kit
Load cell

Are all pipes, hoses, and cables connected as flexibly as possible?
Are the connections flexible and coupled horizontally?
Are devices which are rigidly connected to the weighing facility in direct contact
with the surrounding installation?
Is there friction between the weighing facility and its surrounding (e.g. dirty
apertures etc.)?
Has moisture penetrated into the junction box?
Do all solder or screw connections provide safe contact?
Is the sheath damaged?
Has moisture penetrated the sheath?
Is there a contact between lift-off protection and the weighing facility itself?
Is the stopper jammed?
Does the load cell stand vertically?
Is the measuring chamber cover damaged?
Is the sheath of the cable damaged?
Has moisture penetrated the cable?
