Activate pause function
Press the finish button until you hear a second beep. All
cooking zones that are switched on will change to setting 2 for
a maximum of 5 minutes. The light next to the key symbol will
flash and the setting you have selected and setting 2 will flash
alternately.
Deactivate pause function
Press the finish button until you hear a second beep. All
cooking zones that are switched on will return from setting 2
to the cooking setting you have selected. The light next to the
key symbol will go out.
If you do not deactivate the pause function within 5 minutes,
the zones will switch off. The pause function does not work on
zones that stop automatically as a result of a function that you
have selected. This may be a linked timer, an Easy Cook
automatic cooking programme or a programme that you are
running with the memory function. When you activate the
pause function, those cooking zones therefore continue with
the programme or at the selected cooking setting. A cooking
zone that you have set to position 1 will continue at position 1
when you activate the pause function.
The appliance is fitted with a memory function. This function
enables the cooking settings and associated cooking times to
be programmed for each cooking zone individually. If you have
switched off the operating beep, see page 28, when the pause
function and the lock are switched on and off only one beep
signal will sound.
