The induction hob is fitted with a residual heat indicator light,
cooking timer, childproof lock, automatic cooking-time limiter,
two quick-select buttons and 1 programme memory per
zone. On this page and the following ones, you can read how
to use these facilities.

Put a pan on a cooking zone.

Press the on/off button.
A horizontal line (-) appears in the display. If no cooking
setting is selected after a zone is switched on, the zone
switches back to 'standby'.

Press the + or the – button.
The hob goes directly to setting 1.

Select a higher or lower setting by pressing the + or
– buttons again.

The setting selected is shown continuously, if there is a
pan on the cooking zone. The setting selected blinks, if
there is no pan on the cooking zone. The number of steps
effected by each press of a quick-select button is 3,
except in the case of very low and very high settings.
When setting 11 is selected, the extra 'wok' indicator light
comes on (only in the case of the front right zone). However,
other settings or cooking zones may be used. For instance, if
you have a cast iron wok with a small base, and if space
allows, the left rear cooking zone may also be used.
