Before its disposal, the incubator must be decontaminated and
cleaned to protect people, the environment and materials.
All applicable pertinent legal regulations must be observed when
disposing of the incubator.
According to Directive 2012/19/EU , laboratory incubator devices
may no longer be disposed of with household waste.
Incubators without a cooling function belong to group 4 (large
devices) and are assigned to the business-to-business sector.
Incubators with a cooling function belong to group 1 (heat
exchangers) and are assigned to the business-to-business sector.
The crossed-through waste-bin symbol indicates that the incubator
must not be disposed of with household waste.
Regulations governing disposal of such devices may differ in indi-
vidual countries. If necessary, please contact your supplier to learn
more.
