ATTACHING TO THE PLATES
IMPORTANT: Before carrying out any work on the vehicle, check that the hydraulic pressure has dropped.
1.
Remove the plugs from the hydraulic connectors and deploy the bar half-way to allow you to insert your
hands inside the underrun bar assembly.
2.
Move the assembly to the same height as the plates and attach it using the 8 x M14 class 10.9 screws,
washers and nuts provided (C = 200 Nm ±10%).
*NB: M16 class 10.9 screws can be used, in this case you must drill the plates and counter-drill the brackets
with Ø 17.
CONNECTION
1.
Connect the hydraulic hoses to the control valve located behind the assembly, as shown in the
diagram below.
2.
Use an open-centre distributor dedicated solely to controlling the bar.
3.
Install the distributor controls (controls with "hold-to-run" buttons) in a zone where underrun bar
movement is visible.
