Cleaning
After each cleaning (hosing down with water, especially with
a high pressure cleaner) lubricate all the points of lubrication
and let the scarifier run for another 1 to 2 minutes, so that
the water that has entered can be backed out again. Wipe
the engine down with a cloth only. Avoid hosing down with
high water pressure, because water can enter the spark plug,
fuel and lubricant system and cause errors.
Storage
If the scarifier is not used for a longer period the following
steps should be carried out:
Thorough cleansing and evening out defects in paint work.
Lubricate points of lubrication and let the scarifier run for 1-2
minutes. Scarifier spindle and chassis have to be injected
with anti-corrosive oil.
Faultfinding and troubleshooting
In case there are faults on your scarifier that require a larger intervention, always let your authorized service centre
fix it. Incorrect intervention can cause damage. If faults can not be cleared by the described troubleshooting steps,
please contact your service centre.

Shutting down and storing
Do not tilt scarifier forward, backward or to the side
during transportation, putting down or storage. Do not
store scarifier in moist rooms, in rooms in which fertilizer
is being stored, in barns or adjoining rooms. If tilted,
motor oil can enter the combustion chamber and as a
result ignition difficulties and oil carbonization may occur.
Danger of heavy corrosion.
