Assembly/preparation
CAUTION: All the assembly and maintenance work must
unconditionally be carried out when the engine is switched off!
Read the entire Operating Instructions before assembling and
putting your new joint cleaner into operation.
Joint cleaner accessories
Take the joint cleaner out of the box and check whether there
are any free parts left in the package.
Assembly – wheel (pic. 3)
Screw the wheel with the axis including washer and expander
ring to the engine cover.
Assembly – brush and cover

Fit the cover (pic.4) and fix it with 4 screws. (pic. 5)
Choose the brush and tighten it by spring collet. (pic. 6)

Height adjustment (pic. 2)
Turn the rod to the left and adjust it to appropriate operating
height and turn to the right to fix it.
Adjust the auxiliary handle (pic.1,4) to the requested height by
simultaneous pressing of both buttons.
Operation
•
Aim the brush at the joint.
•
Put the appliance sideways on the wheel so that the brush
does not touch the ground.
•
Switch the appliance on and put it into a joint.
•
Move the rotating parts slowly forward or backward.
•
In order to clean the joint cleaner properly, put it to a vertical
position.
Instructions
•
The brushes are suitable for outdoor use, e.g. curbs,
paving or terraces.
•
You should generally work with low pressure.
•
Nylon brushes are not suitable to be used for smooth
paving as they could scratch it.
•
The nylon brush is ideal for joint cleaning.
•
The metal brush is ideal for removing weed (roots or
moss) from joints.
•
Before you start working, make sure the brushes cannot
damage the paving, etc.
•
All the brushes are not suitable for cleaning silicon joints.
•
Impurities flying away can pollute walls and floors.
•
Use the joint cleaner only for joints in the floor. Do not use
it for cleaning of surfaces.
Stopping the engine
Release the switch to stop the engine (3).
WARNING! The brush keeps turning for a few seconds
after stopping the engine.
Maintenance
IMPORTANT – Regular maintenance is necessary for constant
operational safety and keeping the original appliance output.

All screws and nuts must be tightened to ensure the
appliance is in a safe operational state. Regular maintenance
is necessary for safety provision and trouble-free operation.

Let the appliance unconditionally cool down before storing
it in enclosed places.

For safety reasons, prevent the appliance from being used
with worn-out or damaged parts. Replace any faulty part
with a new one, no repairs. Use only original spare parts.
Parts other than of specified quality can damage the
appliance and put you at risk.

After the service life expires, we recommend delivering the
appliance to your dealer to dispose it in accordance with
appropriate regulations. Check the appliance regularly for
wear and inspect the technical state.
Original spare parts are provided by the customer service
and dealers. We recommend using an authorised shop for
the annual maintenance and check of safety elements. Please
contact your dealer for maintenance and spare parts.
