Model with hydraulic tank supply (BASIC)

Place the machine on a solid base, remove
the cup support grid, open the top cover to
access the water tank

Fill the tank with water up to the maximum
level mark. Lastly, close the lid again.

It is recommended to use water with
a hardness of between 5-8 dHº (8-14
fHº), in order to avoid limescale build-
up and to obtain top quality coffee
and infusions.

· Place the filter holder in the brewing group
and activate brewing to purge the group head.
Let the water flow for approximately 30 se-
conds and wait about 10 minutes until the ma-
chine reaches working temperature.

· Connect the machine's power point to a suita-
ble socket in accordance with the local electri-
cal regulations in force.
· No extension leads or multiple sockets of any
kind should be used to connect the machine
to the mains supply.
· Press the general switch. At start-up the main-
board will detect that the water level is not
high enough in the boiler, and it will activate
the filling solenoid valve and the pump. These
will remain active until the sensor detects the
appropriate water level.
The mains connection cable should
never be coiled up, but should be
extended as far as possible to avoid

overheating.
Once the boiler has been filled, the
heating element will be activated,
heating up the entire system.

· This model empties the waste water out into the
drainage tray without external connection to a
general drain. It therefore incorporates a red
level indicator.

Check level indicator and empty the
tray if necessary.
