8. Installation
Relevant EN/IEC standards and national regulations for equipment safety
laws are binding for setting up and operation in addition to generally recog-
nised technological regulations.
The electrical connection to the equipment must only be carried out by
qualified personnel (EN/IEC 60079-14).
Creepage and clearance distances according to EN/IEC 60079-7; Table 1
should be observed.
The current load table located on the enclosure should be taken into ac-
count.
To maintain the ignition protection category, the line terminal should be
carried out with particular care.
The insulation must reach the terminal. The line itself must not be damaged.
The maximum and minimum cable cross-sections that can be connected
should be noted.
All screws and/or nuts on the connection terminals, including those that are
not used, should be screwed tight.
With installation a conductive electrical grounding has to be carried out.
Do not open the enclosure while energized or carry out appropriate safety
precautions
According IP protection-suitable installation only original ROSE assembly
materials are allowed to be used.
NOTE: Enclosures may not be damaged, otherwise the examined technical
characteristics are not kept.
Closing the device / cover fixing
Remove all foreign objects from the device.
To ensure the minimum required protection class, the cover screws should be
screwed tight.
The protection class may be impaired if overtightened.
Improper installation and operation of the terminal box may render the
warranty invalid.
