The target group of these instructions is electrical specialists and
instructed staff following EN/IEC 60079.
Attention: the operating permit expires in the event of non-compliance!
The user has to take care of all demands especially dust deposits and tempera-
tures.
Modifications and machining of the approved enclosures can only be done
legally as follows:
- through – holes or threaded holes for cable glands and stopping plugs
- machining of plug entries and display elements
- drillings and cut out for electromechanical elements ....
ROSE type examination of empty enclosures include windows. Therefore
only ROSE is allowed to machine and insert windows into Ex approved
ROSE enclosures.
There have to be taken special protective measures acc. electrostatics regula-
tion (see item 6 protective earth connection).
Incorrect or forbidden operations as well as disregard of the Notes of this
manual exclude a guarantee.
Observe the national safety and accident prevention regulations and the
following safety information in this operating manual, which are written in
italics like this text.
