GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1
PRESENTATION OF INSTALLATION
CITOMAG is a welding set MIG-MAG. The welding voltage and
wire speed adjustments are continuous and regulated. Rectifier
technology for the power source is thyristor type. The whole weld-
ing machine is microcontroller driven. These technologies make
the power source easy to use, flexible and with excellent striking
and welding qualities.
This power source enables to :
1.
weld in smooth current MIG-MAG, short arc and spray arc,
from 50-400A (Citomag 400), 40-520A (Citomag 500)
2.
feed wires of different types
- feed wires of different types
- solid wires and cored wires
- diameters 0,8-1,6mm (Citomag 400), 0.8-2.4mm (Citomag
500)
3.
have the wire-feed at the workstation on a remote basis in the
separate wire-feed version
4.
pre-adjust the welding parameters quickly using the OPTI
System
5.
see the welding parameters clearly.

The welding-set is comprise of:
1.
the power supply source with primary cable (length: 5 me-
ters), (Ref. 1 - Picture 1 Page 3.)
2.
the wire feed unit (Ref. 2 - Picture 1 Page 3.)
3.
the harness between the wire feed unit and the power supply
source, with the gas hose
4.
an earthing conductor (length 5 meters) with earth clamp
5.
a welding torch (Ref. 5 - Picture 1 Page 3.)
6.
a cooling unit (Ref. 6 - Picture 1 Page 3.):
- wire feed accessories for steel and stainless steel wire di-
ameter, 1.0 and 1.2mm
- 2 sling attachments
