Level sensor (ATEX)
Connect the ends of the ATEX level sensor cable to the
Zener barrier and the equipotential bonding. The connection
of level sensors is identical for both Mono and Duo systems.
Use KESSEL junction box (art. no. 28799) to lengthen the
connection cable of the level sensor.

Installing the redundant control unit
If using an Ecolift XL with two motorised flaps, a redundant connection is required. Connect the redundant connection to the
"LIN BUS" terminal block as described in the instructions of the redundant control unit.

Further connection possibilities
TeleControl GSM modem
Mount the TeleControl modem (art. no. 28792) as described in the corresponding installation instructions 434-033.
Diverse accessories - control units
Remote signal generator art. no. 20162
Warning beacon art. no. 97715
If required, signal generators or other accessories can be connected via the potential-free contacts (42 V 0.5 A). The follow-
ing terminals are available for these:
Fault (fatal error - e.g. in electrical connection or safety systems) -normally open-
Warning (technical event is displayed - e.g. relay operating cycles exceeded)
In the event of a fault, the function of the system can be directly impaired, there is a need for direct action. Contact the ser-
vice technician or emergency service. In the event of a warning, ensure that maintenance or an inspection is carried out in a
foreseeable time.
* Function of the potential-free contacts:
The changeover contact is NC (normally closed - closed
when currentless). As soon as a voltage is applied to the
device, both contacts switch to the other position. If a warn-
ing or a fault is given, the respective changes to the idle
state (see circuit diagram)
Select accessory part (e.g. warning beacon Art. No. 97715)
and attach in required location. Connect to the control unit
as follows:
Make the connection as shown in the connection dia-
gram.
Lead out the cable on the right-hand underside of the
control unit. Replace existing blind plugs with rubber
cable glands.
