4. Setting of the end positions

4.1. Delivery status

In the SELVE delivery status no end positions or transmitters are programmed into
the motor! In this state, the motor can be operated in deadman's operation only.
Safety functions such as obstacle detection are deactivated at delivery and will only
become active after both end positions are set.
The SE Pro motor is in automatic setup­mode.

4.2. Mechanic requirements

Operating of the SE Pro motor is possible with normal safety and fixing springs. Option­
ally, security springs can also be used (manual setup­mode).
If the motor is supposed to move against the stop in the upper end position, a stable
end stop must be installed!
If the motor is set in automatic setup­mode, a limit must be installed for the lower
switch­off position (e.g. windowsill) for the shutter to run against.

4.3. Setup functions

The end positions setting of a SELVE motor is possible via:
• any standard switch (in automatic mode)
• the setting switch for electronic motors (item no. 290103 or 291009,
manual setup­mode)
