* IMPORTANT: Whenever there are more than two bends or reductions in the flue, the distance
between them must be at least 1 metre in order to give time for the speed and pressure of the air
flow to recover. For example, if two 90º bends are fitted 20cm apart, this will cause a blocking effect,
drastically reducing aspiration power and increasing noise level.
* IMPORTANT: Always avoid flues running downwards, as this drastically reduces extraction capacity.

Reduction in flue
RIGHT
BETTER
1. Never reduce flue diameter right
next to the hood outlet fitting.
(Only in versions with V850 motor
system upwards, with smaller
V700/800 motor systems a
reduction from Ø150 to Ø120 can
be fitted)
2. Always reduce the diameter of
the flue in steps.
3. Never fit reductions next to
curves or bends in the installation.
They must always be in straight
sections and as far as possible
from the hood.
4. Keep the curves or bends in the
installation to a minimum. If they
do exist, try to keep the angle as
open as possible.
