When using the TECAR X, the color of the mode selected matches the color of the illuminated logo on the
accessory:
• The logo flashes when treatment is paused
• The logo pulses during treatment
• The logo remains illuminated but does not change in brightness when the electrode is not in contact
with the skin or when the treatment is stopped

6. MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE

6.1 GENERAL MAINTENANCE

To avoid any risk of electric shock, the device must be turned off and unplugged before cleaning or technical
maintenance is undertaken.
Never use corrosive products or an abrasive cloth during cleaning, as these may damage the device. Damage
caused by the use of products other than those that are recommended, or resulting from inappropriate cleaning,
is not covered by the warranty.
Never pour liquids directly on the screen or the device . Do not clean the screen with detergents (the presence of
liquid could cause a malfunction). If cream or liquid is spilled on the device, dry it immediately to avoid damage.
The BACK4 and its accessories are reusable. To avoid potential contamination of patients by pathogens, it is
essential that the device and its accessories are clean.

Warning: The surface of the electrode must be in perfect contact with the skin. The electrode
should not be tilted, but instead held completely flat during treatment to avoid any discomfort
related to overheating, the electrical arc or burns. Always make sure that your patient does not
feel any sensation or pain that is unusual.
