Hi-TENS mode (RET)
This mode allows the use of tecartherapy with pulsed current at the maximum intensity level. The Hi-TENS
frequency can be set to 2, 5 or 25Hz.
This mode will be used for an analgesic effect, relieving pain and releasing tension. The 2Hz and 5Hz frequencies
can be used to relieve chronic pain, while the 25Hz frequency can be used to treat acute pain. "Dynamic" mode,
which alternates frequencies every 4 seconds, can also be selected.
Hi-EMS mode
The frequencies used in this mode are 1.5 kHz focal and 4 kHz radial (modulated frequencies).
This mode has an excito-motor action.
This medium frequency current allows a better recruitment of the motor units with a deep action.
Multipolar mode (MIX)
Multipolar resistive energy at 1,000kHz. The reactions produced by MIX mode mainly focus on the tissues that are
in contact with the electrode because this mode operates across a very short circuit, with both the mobile and
fixed electrodes contained in the MIX electrode. The action is superficial, affecting the epidermis and dermis, and
suitable for cutaneous and subcutaneous treatments. To use MIX at 500kHz, select Hi-TENS mode with MIX mode.
Hi-TENS mode (MIX)
This mode can only be used in combination with MIX mode. It allows the use of tecartherapy with pulsed current
at the maximum intensity level. The pulse frequency can be set to 2, 5 or 25Hz.
Signal modulation
"Low" mode: The signal is active for 0.5 seconds, then inactive for 0.5 seconds to enable the practitioner to work
athermically. Low mode permits the maintenance of a specific biological stimulus while limiting diathermy,
which is particularly useful during acute inflammation phases. This is made possible by the controlled alternation
between emission of energy targeting the tissues followed by a neutral period which promotes the physiological
maintenance of the local temperature.
"Medium" mode: TECAR signal at the selected intensity without modulation.
"Boost" mode: The signal is active for 0.5 seconds
at the selected intensity, followed by a further 0.5
seconds at +30% of the selected intensity. The
principle of this mode is to increase the intensity
for a very short and repetitive period. The effect is
to force the poorly vascularized areas to get
back into motion. Feedback from users attests to
a significant time-saving. It alleviates tension and
releases fibroses twice as fast.
To select these modes, press the 'Mode' button.
Options will appear on the right side of the interface.
Select the desired mode.

"SWAP" mode : Alternation between RET mode and Hi-TENS mode for 2
seconds. Can only be used with RET and Hi-TENS modes.
