NOTE! Ensure that the connection matches the actual supply voltage. The
secondary voltage is always 24 V AC.
NOTE! Use a jumper on terminals 3–4 if a PS cable is NOT used.

The start and control unit has the following components:
1.
Transformer (TR1).
The transformer is a multi-transformer with terminals for several different
supply voltages, marked on the upper side of the transformer.

Reset relay (K5).
3.
Transformer, primary fuses F2 and F3, both 6 A.
4.
Timer for Y/D switching (K4T).
5.
Y-contactor (K3).
6.
D-contactor (K2).
7.
Main contactor (K1).
8.
Motor overload relay with manual reset button (S1F).
9.
Grounding cables.
10.
Emergency switch for 3-phase supply.
11.
Terminals 1 and 2 for 24 V AC accessory supply. Fuse F5 on terminal 1, 1
A, fast.
12.
Terminals 3 and 4 for the Pilot Signal (PS) cable. Fuse F6 on terminal 3, 1
A, fast.
13.
Other terminals required by some accessories, all 24 V AC.
14.
Transformer secondary fuse F4, 4 A, slow.
15.
Filter Cleaning Relay (FCR). Normal settings: T
16.
Start/Stop Relay (SSR) for automatic start and stop by means of a PS
cable. Normal setting=10 minutes.
17.
Duty/Idle Relay (DIR) for automatic switching to idling mode. Normal
setting =30 seconds.

Accessories
The installation of Nederman accessories for E-PAK 500 DX Hybrid is described
in the manuals for each product. Consult your local Nederman representative
for available accessories.
The E-PAK 500 DX Hybrid start and control unit is prepared for the connection
of external accessories or signals. The signals/accessories are connected
according to the electric circuit diagram, see Figure 19. See also 'Table 6-1:
Accessory terminals'.
The most common accessory is a PS cable which allows remote start/stop
signalling from the valves of the duct system.
