9. Maintenance, Care and Storage
9.1. Maintenance
Maintenance covers all work that
keeps your lawnmower in good
working order. You can prevent
accidents and failure of parts by
checking your lawnmower regularly
(check that the bolted connections
are secure, check for cracks
and damage) and by replacing
damaged or worn parts.
Repairs must only be carried out
by the service centres authorised by
the manufacturer or authorised
specialist dealers. A service centre
directory is supplied with your
lawnmower.
Warning! Always unplug
A
the spark plug connector
before carrying out all work and
repairs on your lawnmower.
Otherwise there is a risk of injury.
Check the grass catching device
regularly for wear or reduced
function. Replace defective
silencers. For safety reasons,
always replace worn or damaged
parts.
Never clean your lawnmower
under running water and in
particular never using a high-
pressure water jet due to the
danger of injury to people and
property.
Warning! Do not use your
A
hands or feet to remove
grass cuttings from the mower
housing. Use a suitable implement
such as a broom or dustpan brush.
To empty the grass catcher once
removed, hold it by the handle with
one hand and with the other hand
in the rear recess, tip the grass
cuttings out of the large opening
at the front.

Mowing without the Grass Catcher
The Brill brillencio lawnmower is

chute.
Never use replacement parts or
accessories not supplied by the
manufacturer.
If the cutter bar is damaged, it
must be replaced due to the
associated problems with

the cutter bar must only be
replaced at the service centres
approved by the manufacturer
or by specialist dealers.
