Suction/Blowing Tube and Leaves-Collecting Bag
Caution! Always stop the engine first when getting down to maintenance! Always wear protective gloves to get protected against
incision.
1.
Fitting the suction/blowing tube and leaves-collecting bag is the same. The tube is slid on a respective support (Fig. e) and
secured by a turn (Fig. f). On the support of blowing tube or the collecting bag, it is locked with a screw (Fig. g).
2.
Take care to seat the suction tube correctly when fitting it (Fig. f), since it is via the tube that the safety switch is controlled (Fig.
f-1). Otherwise, the machine will not start.
3.
The leaves-collecting bag will be fixed to the supply tube with a Velcro (Fig. h).

Starting Engine
1.
Pour two-stroke engine fuel in the respective hole (Fig. i-3). Be careful not to splash around (ignition risk).
Fuel mixing ratio is shown in Chapter 16.
2.
Move 3 metres at least away from the place of filling. Never start the machine in closed or poorly ventilated areas.

3.
Put the switch (Fig. j-4) in "ON"position. When starting a cold engine, pull the choke out (Fig. i-1). Then put the starting
injection pump (Fig. d-15) on 4 – 5 times so that the fuel can flow in the carburettor.
4.
Now, with the vac standing on the ground, hold the handle and pull the throttle trigger with one hand (Fig a-1). Pull the
starting cable with the other hand until the engine starts (Fig. i-2).
5.
When the engine is running, push the throttle trigger several times. After 2-3 minutes, the choke (Fig. i-1) may be pushed in
again.
