Safety Instructions
To be safe at working with this petrol engine vac and blower, it is required that instructions and information on safety, installation
and operation contained in the manual are precisely observed. Any person engaged in the operation or maintenance of the
machine should be knowledgeable regarding the operation manual and aware of any potential risk. Prevent children, the sick and
the infirm from access. While you are in the working area, look after the children very carefully. Observe any regional and local
safety precautions applicable in your place. The same applies to any provisions on the safety at work and health protection in the
work site.
.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable if the machines it manufactures are altered in an unauthorised manner, in result of which
damage was inflicted.
Warning! It is necessary to observe the essential safety precautions when using the machine tools. Kindly follow the tips and
instructions in the additional safety precautions.
1.
Pay attention to the conditions of the area, which you're working in. After the engine is started, the machine will
produce poisonous flue gas. The gas may be invisible and odourless. Hence never work with the machine closed or poorly
ventilated areas. Provide for good lighting when working. Provide for stability when working in wet, snow or icy weather
conditions on slopes or rough ground.
2.
Do not let any unauthorised persons approach the machine. The visitors and viewers, primarily the children, the ill and
infirm persons should not have any access to the working area. Prevent other persons from any contact with the tools.
3.
Make provision for the tools storage. The machines not in current use should be kept in a dry place, elevated or locked
where practicable so that any access to them is prevented.
4.
Always use a correct tool for the job to be done. E.g. avoid using small tools and accessories for work that should be
actually done with a heavy tool. Use the tools only for the purposes they were designed for.
5.
Pay attention to adequate clothing. The clothing should fit the purpose and should not put any limits to you when working.
6.
Wear ear protectors. Wear personal protective equipment to protect your ears, such as ear protectors.
7.
Garden vac transport. Secure the machine against rollover, damage and fuel leaking.
8.
Remove socket wrench. Before switching the vac on, remove all the wrenches etc
9.
Be attentive any time. Mind what you are doing. Use common sense. Do not use the vac when tired. Never work with the
garden vac and blower when influenced by alcohol, drugs or medicaments affecting the concentration capability
10. Fuelling. Always switch the engine off before filling up. Open the tank cap carefully so that any overpressure may be let out
and the fuel does not splash out. High temperatures build up on the machine body when working with the scythe. Therefore,
leave the machine to cool down before filling up the fuel. Otherwise, the fuel could ignite spontaneously and there is a risk of
personal burns. Replenishing the fuel, mind not to overfill the tank. If the fuel drips off, it should be removed immediately and
the machine cleaned. When the filling is completed, check the screw. After filling up, check screw closure for the firm fit to
prevent loosening at work because of vibrations.
11. Time of Use and Breaks for Rest. After using the power machine for a longer time, you may have troubles with the capillary
return in hands due to the vibrations. However, you may prolong the time of use when wearing suitable gloves and taking
regular breaks. Remember that the time of using the power machine may get shorter in result of personal inclination to poor
capillary return, low outside temperature or strong contact force of the machine while working
12. Watch out for any damaged parts. Inspect the machine before use. Are any parts damaged? Ask yourself seriously when
detecting slight damage whether the machine will work perfectly and safely despite that. Watch out for proper aligning and
adjustment of any moving parts. Do the parts fit one in another properly? Are the part damaged? Is everything installed as
appropriate? Are any other prerequisites of proper working in place? Damaged protective devices etc. must be repaired or
replaced by authorised entities unless the operation manual expressly says otherwise. Any defective switches must be
replaced at an authorised servicing centre. Do not use the machine if it cannot be put on and off with the switch. When
repairs are necessary, kindly turn to your local servicing centre.
13. Always put the engine off prior to any adjustment or maintenance of the machine. The same applies primarily to switching
over between the suction and blowing function.
14. Use approved parts only. Use only identical spare parts for maintenance and repairs. Turn to an authorised servicing
centre for that purpose.
Warning! Use of other accessories and superstructure than expressly recommended may result in a threat to persons and
property.
The machine should not be used for other than intended purposes. Any deviation from the purpose shall be considered an
unauthorised use. Only the user, and never the manufacturer, shall be held liable for any material and personal damage resulting
from such an unauthorised use.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable, if the machine is altered or used in an unauthorised manner and if damage is inflicted in
result.
