d) Setting the Idling Mixture Speed (S)
• Turn the setting screw for idling speed (S) clockwise to increase the idling speed.
• Turning the setting screw counter-clockwise decreases the idling speed.
Set the idling speed with the engine still warm from operation so that the engine still runs securely. Avoid
too-high idling speed because this will cause the clutch to drag continually and speeds up wear.
e) Recovering the Factory Settings
Idle Mixture Adjustment Screw (L):
As basic setting, unscrew the idle mix adjusting screw by 1.25 rotations.
• Carefully turn the screw in without applying force until it is flush.
• Now unscrew the needle again by 1.25 rotations.
Main nozzle needle (H):
The basic setting of the main nozzle needle is 1.75 rotations.
If the main nozzle needle is turned in too firmly, both the needle and the needle seat in the carburettor may
be destroyed! Loss of guarantee/warranty!
