• Training should be conducted periodically and without exposing the trainee to a fall
hazard.
V. INSPECTION
Before each use, visually inspect for the following:
• Inspect for physical damages, cracks, wear, corrosion, or malfunctioning components.
• Ensure the condition of the roof will support the fall arresting loads. The RM Roof
Strider Roof System should not be used on rotted, rusted or otherwise deteriorated or
questionable roofs.
• Ensure the RM Roof Strider Roof System is securely attached per the installation
requirements.
WARNING: DO NOT USE THE RM ROOF STRIDER SYSTEM IF ANY OF THE NAILS OR
SCREWS ARE NOT SECURELY FASTED INTO SOLID ROOF MEMBERS (i.e.: STUDS, JOISTS,
RAFTERS, PERLINS ETC.).

VI. ENTRETIEN
A. RÉPARATION
Toute réparation ne doit être effectuée que par un technicien d'entretien formé dans la réparation
et l'entretien des dispositifs antichutes Miller. Un journal contenant toutes les dates d'entretien et
d'inspection pour ce dispositif doit être maintenu par le responsable de la sécurité de l'entreprise.
Le dispositif doit être mis hors service s'il a été exposé aux forces d'arrêt d'une chute. Dans le
cas d'une telle exposition, le cordon rétractable doit être retourné à nos bureaux ou à un centre
de service approuvé, où il sera inspecté puis approuvé de nouveau. Seules les pièces de
rechange d'origine Miller sont homologuées pour l'utilisation avec se produit. Pour toute question,
contacter le distributeur Miller ou le département de service technique au 1-800-873-5242.
B. RANGEMENT
Après son utilisation, rangez le dispositif dans un endroit propre et sec.

VI. MANTENIMIENTO
A. SERVICIO
El servicio debe ser realizado sólo por un ingeniero de servicio aprobado capacitado en la
reparación y el servicio de los sistemas/dispositivos de cabos de salvamento de supresión de
caídas de Miller. El encargado de seguridad de la empresa debe llevar una bitácora de todas las
fechas de servicio e inspección para este dispositivo. Este producto y todos sus componentes
deben ser retirados del servicio después de haber experimentado fuerzas de supresión de caídas.
El cabo de salvamento retractable de Miller debe devolverse a nuestras instalaciones o a un
centro de servicio aprobado siempre que haya experimentado fuerzas de supresión de caídas
para la inspección física y la recertificación. Solamente se deben usar en este dispositivo
repuestos originales de Miller. Póngase en contacto son su distribuidor de Miller o el

VI. MAINTENANCE
A. SERVICING
Servicing must only be carried out by an approved service engineer trained in the repair and service
of Miller fall arrest lifeline systems/devices. A record log of all servicing and inspection dates for this
device should be maintained by the company safety officer. This device must be withdrawn from
service if subjected to fall arresting forces. The Miller Retractable lifeline must be returned to our
facilities or an approved service center whenever subjected to fall arresting forces for physical
inspection for recertification. Only original Miller replacement parts are approved for use in this
device. Contact your Miller distributor or our Technical Service Department at 1-800-873-5242 If you
have any questions or for a returned goods authorization number.
B. STORAGE
Store in a clean, dry area when not in use.
