General cleaning

Wipe off the outside of the appliance with a soft, damp cloth and an off-
the-shelf dishwashing detergent.

Cleaning the steam pipe
• Always clean the steam pipe immediately after use if it has been used to
heat or froth milk.

a damp cloth.

Caution!

– Do not clean the drip tray and brewing unit in the dishwasher; this could
cause deformation.
Note
the coffee grounds container (Fig. A, no. 1) is dishwasher-safe and can be
washed in the dishwasher. Frequent washing in the dishwasher can cause
slight discolouration of the coffee grounds container.
