13. Handling

The operation of the product is only permitted in dry rooms.
Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a warm one. The
condensation water generated could destroy the product!
Wait until the device has reached room temperature before you install it and put into
operation. This process may take several hours.
Do not touch the wireless dimmer or the connected devices/cables with moist or wet hands!
Make sure that the insulation of the entire product is intact and not damaged.
Always check the product for damage before it is used.
If damage is found, the product must NOT be connected to the mains
voltage. There is danger to life through an electric shock!
If the product is not used for a longer period of time, disconnect it from the mains voltage.
Avoid the following adverse ambient conditions at the place of installation or during transport:
- dampness or high humidity
- extremely cold or hot temperatures
- dust or flammable gases, fumes or solvents
- strong vibrations
- strong magnetic fields such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loudspeakers
The wireless dimmer may only be used with properly closed housing.
