9. Timer function

a) General
The device features three separate timers, a short-time timer as well as a slow-on (for dimming
up) and a slow-off (for dimming down) timer which can be set to a timeframe from 1 second to
270 minutes (=4h 30min).
These timers are programmed by the remote control of the FS20 wireless
switching system.
If a timer has been programmed, it can only be disabled by deactivating the timer
function. See chapter 9. c).
In short-time mode, after the light has been switched on, the wireless dimmer will automatically
switch it off after the programmed time (the operating time does not include possible slow-on
or slow-off times!).
Slow-on causes the wireless dimmer to smoothly dim up to a programmed level of brightness.
Slow-off causes the wireless dimmer to smoothly dim down to a programmed level of
brightness.
b) Programming the timer
1. Hold down both buttons of the pair of buttons assigned to the wireless dimmer for 1 to 5
seconds simultaneously.
2. The pilot LED starts flashing, the device starts taking the time.
3. When the desired time has elapsed, again hold down both buttons of the pair of buttons
assigned to the wireless dimmer for 1 to 5 seconds simultaneously. Now the timer is set.
Please note:
If you do not end the timing manually, the timer will quit programming mode
automatically after 270 minutes (=4h 30min). The timer will then be set to 270
minutes.
